  Smiling happily, with tears forming in the corner of her eyes Julia answered, “I am so sorry for the way I treated you. I only treated you that way because I was trying to fight against the love you had so easily awoken in my heart. Gabriel, I also think that I truly and deeply love you. I am so thankful for Sharron’s interference.”

  “Then why are you crying?” Gabriel asked with a tiny smile, wiping the tears from her cheeks.

  “I’m crying because I am so happy. No man has ever managed to make me feel the way you do. I’ve never been this happy,” Julia answered with the tears streaming faster down her face, feeling highly emotional after the intensity of their union.

  “Amoureux - Sweetheart, don’t cry. Now-now Sharron will think that I molested you when they return to pick us up,” Gabriel wiped the last of her tears away, then kissed her with a tenderness that took her breath away. “You realize that I am never going to let you go again,” Gabriel said as he looked deeply in her love-filled eyes.

  “I don’t want you to ever let me go, I want to be with you for the rest of my days,” Julia replied happily, with her heart bouncing happily in her chest.

  Happy and content in their newfound love, Gabriel and Julia sat in each other’s arm, drinking champaign, and eating strawberries and cream while watching the sun set over the ocean. This was the first day of the rest of their lives, and they couldn’t wait to see what the future had in store for them.
